Electronics

We take all types of electronics, below are some examples:

Computers & Notebooks

Whether it’s a few small items from your home, or a bigger load of old equipment from an office or school, we can handle it. We avoid the landfill and focus on recycling or donating as much as we can.

  • Laptops And Notebooks
  • Desktop Computers
  • Monitors & Displays
  • Tablets
  • Servers
  • Workstations
  • Rack-Mount Or Blade Servers
  • Wires, Cords & Cables
  • Personal Computers
  • Mini-Computers

Monitors & Displays

Computer monitor recycling is especially important because monitors contain harmful chemicals like lead, cadmium, and mercury. When monitors are crushed in landfills, these chemicals are released into the air and water, and have been linked to serious respiratory and neuropsychological disorders. Most trash haulers won’t pick up old monitors or computers for these reasons.

  • Flat Screens
  • CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) Displays
  • LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) Screens
  • LED (Light-Emitting Diodes) Displays
  • Plasma Screens

Printers, Scanners, and Copiers

We’ll either get your printers recycled or, if they’re still in working order, get them to someone who can use them.

  • Ink Cartridges
  • Printers
  • Toners
  • Plastic Parts
  • Scanners & Copiers
  • Laser or Inkjet Printers
  • All-in-One (AiO) Printers
  • Solid Ink Printers
  • LED Printers
  • Dot Matrix Printers
  • 3d Printers & Print Medium
Construction Debris

We take all types of renovation related items, below are some examples:

Renovation Waste

Whether you are doing a small renovation, complete home overhaul or any project in between. We will take wooden planks, bricks, cement, old appliances – even the kitchen sink!

  • Concrete
  • Porcelain
  • Tiles
  • Plastics
  • Wood
  • Metals
  • Rocks
  • Insulation

Glass Recycling

Many types of glass can be recycled, but broken glass should not simply be mixed in with your regular recycling. This is because broken glass is dangerous to the workers who collect and sort your recyclables—if they don’t know broken glass is present, they could easily get injured. We’re glass removal experts and can get that broken glass out of your way quickly and safely.

  • Broken Glass
  • Mirrors
  • Plate Glass
  • Automotive Glass
  • Old or Broken Windows
  • Glass Doors

Scrap Metal

Chances are, at least some of your old junk has metal components. Scrap metal from renovation projects, car repairs, and other items containing metal shouldn’t just be thrown away with the trash. Metal is a valuable resource that can be recycled and turned into something new.

  • Aluminum
  • Brass
  • Cast Iron
  • Copper
  • Steel
  • Tin
  • Lead
  • Zinc
  • Nickel
  • Assorted Hardware
  • Metal Tools
  • Automotive Parts
Yard Waste

Whether it’s piles of leaves, garden weeds, or anything in between, removing yard waste can be a hassle—especially without any extra help.

With more laws banning yard waste from landfills, many local garbage collectors no longer accept bags filled with leaves, grass clippings, and tree debris.

As long as no hazardous materials are present, our yard waste removal services can collect all of your organic debris, including:

  • Leaves
  • Grass clippings
  • Twigs
  • Mulch
  • Yard debris
  • Shrubs
  • Tree trunks
  • Holiday trees
  • Biological waste
  • Hedge trimmings
  • Weeds & plants
Clothes

When deciding what to do with items you no longer need, donating to a charity thrift store is always a fantastic option. At Environmental 360 Solutions, we donate much of the gently-used “junk” we collect to charity as a way to keep it out of landfills and give back to the community.

What can be donated?

A wide range of items can be donated to charity thrift stores, including clothing, accessories, housewares, furniture, appliances, and collectibles. You can also donate sports equipment, musical instruments, toys, games, art, medical aids, and food to select stores.

The key is ensuring that everything is suitable for resale and in good condition (nothing broken, damaged, dirty, or incomplete). Clothing should be new or gently used, needing no cleaning or repairs before sale. Furniture, housewares, and appliances should be clean and in working order. Any food donations should be non-perishable (check with charities that accept food items).

What won’t be accepted?

With limited space to store and sell goods, charity thrift stores have restrictions on what they can accept. When a thrift store is unable to take donations, it’s usually due to the item’s condition, resale value, safety regulations, or difficulty in handling.

Items that are damaged, torn, or broken can’t be donated. This includes goods that are stained, dirty, frayed, torn, moldy, rusted, wet, have an odor, or have been damaged by pets or exposure to the elements.

Due to safety regulations, charity thrift stores cannot accept items that have been recalled, banned, or don’t meet current safety standards. Additionally, many stores are unable to accept goods that are too difficult or costly to handle and dispose of.

Remember, not all charities accept the same types of items, so be sure to check with your local thrift store or donation center before dropping anything off. This way, you can ensure your gently-used goods go to the right place!

Estate Clean-out

When it comes to estate cleanouts, Environmental 360 Solutions approaches every job with respect, professionalism, and understanding. We recognize that items like couches, chairs, and carpets can carry sentimental value, and we handle everything we collect with care, ensuring the space is thoroughly cleaned before we leave.

We strongly believe in giving back to the community. By donating the majority of the items we collect, your loved one’s legacy can continue to make a positive impact as a charitable contribution within your community.

Our home and estate cleanouts in Calgary cover everything from furniture removal to electronics disposal. At Environmental 360 Solutions, our priority is keeping usable items out of landfills. Often, the furniture, appliances, and other items collected during an estate cleanout are still in good condition, allowing them to be repurposed or donated.

Hot Tubs

We take all types of hot tubs, below are some examples:

  • Hot Tub Covers
  • Steel & Fiberglass Tubs
  • Hot Tubs
  • Wooden Hot Tub Parts
  • Old & Token Spas

Getting rid of an old hot tub is no easy task, and it’s not something you can easily manage on your own. Even if you round up some friends to help, the job can still be quite challenging.

That’s where we come in. We’ll arrive at your home, safely remove your old hot tub, and load it onto our clean, shiny truck—so you won’t have to lift a finger. Whenever possible, we’ll make every effort to recycle your old spa or hot tub responsibly.

Decks & Fences

After removing the fence materials and support posts, it’s crucial to thoroughly clean up the work area.

Collect all the removed fence materials, nails, screws, and debris on a tarpaulin or drop cloth. This will make it easier to transport and dispose of the waste responsibly. Securely bundle the materials using ropes or twine to prevent loose items from scattering during transport.

Do a final sweep of the area to ensure no nails, screws, or other sharp objects are left behind that could pose a safety risk to people or pets.

Dispose of the bundled materials according to local regulations. If recycling or reuse options are available, prioritize those. Otherwise, you may need to take the materials to a designated disposal site or landfill.

If you’d rather not deal with hauling away your old fence—or even your deck—call Environmental 360 Solutions. We’ll gladly remove the debris, recycle what we can, and responsibly dispose of the rest.

If your home is being cluttered by unused exercise equipment, it might be time to reclaim that space. However, getting rid of bulky equipment on your own can be a challenge.
